Tire Changing Workshop

Students will learn how to remove the wheels from their motorcycle, use our powered K&L Tire Machine to replace their tires, and then balance and reinstall their wheels. This is all done with an instructor at hand to make sure the job is done right.

This workshop or a 1-on-1 lesson is required before you can use our tire machine on your own*. It does NOT qualify you to train your friends on the machine. 

*Proficiency on the tire machine must be demonstrated when returning to use the machine on your own.

In this workshop you have a few options*:
• One wheel off bike – $75
• Two wheels off bike – $110
• Change front tire – $115
• Change rear tire – $125
• Change two tires – $200

*ADDITIONAL FEES:
• Wire/spoke wheel with inner tube (most wire/spoked wheels) - $15/wheel
• Wheel with rim lock (usually off-road/dual-purpose bikes) - $10/wheel
• Additional tire/wheel, off-bike - $52 per
• Receiving/handling (tires shipped to MG) - $10 per
•  Tire disposal fee - $13/tire (We offer a $6 per tire discount off the disposal fee when replacement tires are purchased from us)

PARTS:
The cost of parts, restocking and disposal fees are NOT included in the price of the workshop.  You can request us to order tires for you when signing up for the workshop - we will email you a quote.  Delivery of non-stocked items is usually 1 – 2 business days. 

We offer excellent prices and will match the price of any major online retailer, request a quote/order parts. 

NOTES:
The "Wheel Off Bike" option means you DON'T bring your motorcycle to the workshop; you just bring your wheel(s). You can, of course, rent a work station to remove and reinstall your wheel(s) on your own. Click here for station rental info.

This class is currently open to all makes of motorcycles, EXCEPT Harley-Davidson. If you have a HD, schedule a 1-on-1 appointment with our HD mechanic.
