Students will learn how to remove the wheels from their motorcycle, use our K&L Tire Machine to replace their tires, and then balance and reinstall their wheels. This is all done with an instructor at hand to make sure the job is done right.
You may also bring the wheel(s) off the motorcycle – sign up for the “Wheel off bike” option. Note: "wheel off bike" option means you bring in the wheel(s) to the workshop, not that you remove and install them yourself during the workshop. Ask if you have questions.
This workshop or a 1-on-1 lesson is required before you can use our Tire Machine on your own. It does not, however, qualify you to train your friends on the machine.
You can request us to order tires for you when signing up for the workshop - we will email you a quote. We offer excellent prices and will match the price of any major online retailer. There will be a $10 per tire stocking fee if you have tires shipped to our shop, except for Heidenau for which we are not a dealer.
If you would like to leave your old tires here for disposal, we have a $6 per tire disposal fee ($10 each for tires purchased elsewhere) payable at the end of the workshop.
In this workshop you have a few options:
• One wheel off bike – $60
• Two wheels off bike – $85
• Change front tire – $90
• Change rear tire – $105
• Change two tires – $160
*each additional wheel off-bike = $35, paid at time of workshop
NOTE: This class is currently only open to all makes of motorcycles except Harley Davidson. If you have a HD, schedule a 1-on-1 appointment with our HD mechanic.
